Social Media Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the HR team to manage internal communication channels and engage internal audiences effectively.

  • Execute social media publishing across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube according to the content calendar, ensuring timely posting, accuracy, and brand consistency.

  • Create basic marketing and communication materials using design tools such as Canva and AI-powered content creation tools, while adhering to company brand guidelines.

  • Support the planning and coordination of company events, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communication campaigns.

  • Prepare and distribute welcome packs for new employees and create onboarding announcements/posts for internal and external communication channels.

  • Support day-to-day marketing operations and administrative tasks as assigned.


Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)

Requirements

  • Good command of English for internal communication and documentation.

  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented  with good multitasking and organizational ability

  • Problem-solving mindset with high attention to operational detail.

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, graphic design tools, and event coordination is a plus

  • School leavers are encouraged to apply

  • Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and AI content creation tools is a plus
