Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) (Night Shift)

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end QA strategy ensuring high-quality, scalable releases with minimal defects and faster time-to-market across complex web and platform systems.

  • Own test architecture using QA automation tool (preferred in Playwright); design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks and execute comprehensive manual test strategies.

  • Leverage AI tools like Claude and Copilot to generate test cases, optimize scripts, and accelerate QA productivity and coverage.

  • Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality early and enable continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Lead, mentor, and upskill junior QA engineers; enforce best practices, code quality standards, and high-performance delivery culture.

  • Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting to drive data-backed decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Identify risks proactively, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure production stability through rigorous validation cycles.

  • Champion test optimization, reduce execution time, and improve coverage through intelligent automation and AI-driven approaches.


Working Hours: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM or 5:00 PM–2:00 AM, depending on the assigned project.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Engineering.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proficiency in Playwright with strong capability in both automation and manual testing.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems, API testing tools, and modern test management platforms.

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and quality engineering best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset, high ownership, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling large web applications and maintaining high availability services

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of E-Commerce and subscription systems

  • Experience with AWS is desirable

  • Knowledge or experience of E-Commerce systems, Product Information Management (PIM) solutions

  • Working experience with ElasticSearch

  • Familiar with third-party backend API integrations

  • ISTQB or similar QA certifications.

  • Experience with Netlify environments
