Position Overview

This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being, success, and overall satisfaction of our employees. This position combines elements of employee engagement, wellness initiatives, and executive support to create a harmonious and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for employee development, a keen understanding of organizational dynamics, and the ability to execute strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve employee development programs such as creating training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities, regularly evaluating and enhancing them to better serve employees.

  • Develop and execute employee engagement and retention strategies like Implementing initiatives that boost job satisfaction and retention, including regular feedback, performance assessments, and tailored development plans.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development by encouraging ongoing education and skill enhancement through structured programs and resources.

  • Oversee wellness programs and promote work-life balance by developing and managing wellness initiatives, organizing events and workshops to support physical, mental, and emotional health, and providing resources for stress management and mental well-being.

  • Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback sessions by gauging morale, identify areas for improvement, and update policies and programs to enhance employee success and well-being.

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations like regularly review and update policies to align with legal requirements and organizational values, maintaining a smooth and compliant HR operation.

  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture by implementing strategies and initiatives that promote inclusivity, collaboration, and alignment with company goals and values.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by assisting with high-level decision-making and strategic planning, providing administrative support, including preparing reports and presentations.

  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by ensuring alignment with company objectives and foster cooperation among different teams and departments.

  • Manage employee onboarding, exit processes, and grievances by overseeing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, conducting exit interviews, and addressing grievances.

  • Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.

Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in employee engagement, wellness coordination, and/or executive support roles.

  • Strong understanding of employee development and well-being principles.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
