Job Responsibilities
- Provide quality assurance support for sprint activities and weekly production releases.
- Review business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to prepare test plans, test cases, and testing effort estimates.
- Execute manual testing for web applications, APIs, and system integrations to ensure product quality.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and perform thorough regression testing on resolved issues.
- Develop and improve QA processes, test strategies, and automation frameworks to support continuous product quality.
- Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, UI/UX designers, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and release quality through best QA practices.
Shift: SL day time (9am - 6pm)
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a special diploma in Software Quality Assurance is required.
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Good understanding of API testing and defect tracking tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
